Berryland
RV Park
Mary
and Dick Berry purchased the RV Park and buildings in 1999. The
park previously, had eight RV sites of which six were in working
condition.
They
upgraded the original eight sites, plus added an additional eighteen
sites all with full hookups.
They
moved existing trees and planted new ones to provide each site
with shade sometime during the day.
The
infrastructure of the RV Park was such that they dug up and laid
all new sewer lines, water lines with yard hydrants, and miles
of new power cabling through out the entire park. They also planted
Rose of Sharon bushes for beauty and privacy along the roads on
the south and west sides of the park.
They
also added a camper's shower and several storm shelters, should
the need arise.
They
established an outside RV, Camper, and boat storage area in two
sections of the park grounds.
"It
has been many years of hard work, to complete these upgrades,
and bring the park to its present status. Now there are just minor
projects to complete. We feel we are able to offer a warm personal
touch with each of our campers. We try and visit with everyone,
and see if there is anything we can do to make their stay more
enjoyable. We always keep our camper's informed of incoming severe
weather no matter what time it is. This is just one of things
that would sets us apart from other parks.
Our camper's
safety and comfort is our number one priority."
